Wanting to start a new guild - Guild Wars Forums

First off I've read Maltare's tips.

I'm an experienced player. I have been playing since about 3 months after GW came out. I'm mainly a PvP player. I am in a nice guild, but I am wanting to start a guild for me. I am posting this ideas so i can bounce them off of someone or someones. It usually helps me in the Idea thinking process. well here goes...

1v1 scrimmage for rank:
Having 1v1 scrimmage battles on a regular basis. Have them battle eachother for rankings as a officer and rankings as a member. Rankings would be posted on guild website or forum(of course i would have to make a webiste first). Someone there to coach scrimmages also. So no cheating. Having set builds (or mostly set builds like 6 outta 8 skills and player chooses the last 2 on preference). This would alway my members to have something to do all the time. Keep guild active and competitive in PvP. Allow me to see how good a player is, how curteous they are in battle, and give them practice.

Group battles:
Large scale group scrimmages of 2-8 people. So people can get used to fighting with eachother. Practice for TA, heroes and gvg.

Practicing without vent:
I think this is a good idea because instead of people going by what people are saying. it will make them think on how the team is moving in game. setting a spike without using vent is alot harder. But it also takes more skill. People have to react quicker.

Keeping the guild small:
Keeping the guild relatively small. Less confusion and if you have all good members, than people wlll usually be on en masse. A small guild with really good players that know eachother and PvP with and against eachother frequently should be able to do well in GvG still.

This is it for now. I'm just posting this for feedback. want to see what people think and if they can improve on what i'm thinking. I probably won't start this guild for a while. But I am serious about making it. so i'm starting to think about it now
